Funai T27004 27 Inch LCD TV Review

Brought to the market by Funai, a Japanese company, this 27 inch lcd tv has not gained much popularity for the mere fact that it is a Japanese product. People have the impression that most of the Japanese and Chinese products are not durable and that is why they are not so expensive. But let me assure you that the Funai T27004 27 inch lcd tv is a product that is not worthless to be bought as it provides you an array of cool features that makes the picture quality really good. This, not-so-stylish TV set can be bought at the average price of £700.

To be frank, you will be glad to own this TV set as it offers a 1280 X 720 resolution and has the provision of digital visual interface (DVI) input coupled with the High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) compatibility that will no doubt provide you amazingly good picture quality. Besides these, there are many other cool features packaged in this TV set such as the 2 RGB Scarts which will enhance the analogue image quality. Also, the provision of the PC input that lets you use this TV set in the form of a computer monitor.

Though you may be frustrated by the lack of the built-in digital tuner feature, you will nevertheless be glad by component video connection and the picture-in-picture (PiP) facility that offers you the power to simultaneously watch the television broadcasts along with any other inputs. Similarly, this TV set also offers you an easy access to the on-screen menu setting. Furthermore the sad thing about this 27 inch lcd tv is that there is little motion blur and the provision of two speakers of 5W each that unfortunately makes the sound, even at a low volume, a little bumpy and distorted. All the same, this cheap TV set is a good product that provides better image quality, though there are a lot of features that has to be improved upon.
