So, you can chips that have that homemade taste and texture whilst not having to worry too much about your health

It is often agreed that chips cooked in a deep fat fryer means tastier, especially compared to oven chips. However, they are not nearly as healthy and the number of fires caused by chip pans is a worrying statistic.

The Actifry attempts to eliminate this making it a healthier option to cook chips. You will need around one spoon of oil per 1kg of chips.

The process is simple. Load the Actifry with ready cut chips prepared by yourself and add your favourite oil. The Actifry will do the rest and the included timer will let you know when all is ready by the sound of an alarm. You do not need to preheat and a constantly rotating mixing arm means that the chips are cooked evenly.

You can check on the progress of the chips by taking a look through the steam-free viewing window. There is also an odourless filter meaning that the kitchen will not smell of chips for hours after you have finished your meal.

Non-stick and dishwasher elements makes this Kitchen gadget easy to clean and hygienic.

You can cook more than chips in the Tefal Actifry. The manufacturer cites stir fried vegetables, fish and meat as other food stuffs that can be fried. You get a receipt book included with challengers you can set yourself and to ensure that there are a variety of meals that you can get out of this appliance.
