The Toshiba 19LV610U 19-Inch 720p lcd tv is the new version of the very popular 19LV505. To date, Toshiba remains one of the few top companies that produces a lcd tv that comes with a built in DVD player. This is the ultimate space saver. lcd tvs became popular due to its space saving qualities and its cool modern looks. The DVD player that comes with this Toshiba model is barely noticeable. At just 3" thick, it is pretty slim for a HDTV that has a DVD player built in.
From the looks of the Toshiba 19LV610U 19-Inch 720p LCD TV, fans of the older 19LV505 will be pleased. The newer model sports a more modern design, The frame around the screen has a high-gloss coating, giving it a more contemporary look. Everything else in terms of design remains similar to the older model. A surprising change found in the new model is the slightly lower resolution. The older model has a 1440 x 900 resolution whilst this newer model has a 1366 x 768 resolution. Perhaps this is a strategic move by Toshiba to produce a better viewing experience as a whole.
One of the improvements that can be seen on the new 19LV610U model is the contrast ration. The new model has a 1000:1 contrast ratio that is an upgrade from the older model. It also features a wider viewing angle from the front. There are no shortages of ports and outputs on this newer model. The HDTV comes with a HDMI output, a RCA video input, L-R audio inputs, a PC input and many more.
